Damaged
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008
Jason Alexander will appear on a November episode of Criminal Minds - right in time for sweeps week. Alexander is best known for his role in Seinfeld - he was my favorite! Anyway, here is what Ed Bernero says of Alexander’s role:
It’s a really crazy role. He’s going to come in and turn himself in, but we have no idea who his victims are. So we have to reverse profile.
Sounds good. From George Castanza to killer. Season four is shaping up to be great. Only another two months to go!
Tonight, “Damaged” is reairing. This is the episode where Rossi finally tackles his twenty-year old case and brings it to resolution. I liked this episode, but thought it was a little anticlimactic. Let me know what you think after you watch it again!
More Chipmunks
Tuesday, July 29th, 2008
Apparently, there’s going to be a sequel to last year’s wildly successful Alvin and the Chipmunks. The film made $217millioin. Matthew Gray Gubler will return as the voice of Simon. I never saw it, but my good friend did. She took her kids, which is a good excuse to go see things we normally wouldn’t!. And she loved it. Is anyone else an Alvin and the Chipmunks fan?

You’ve probably seen pictures of Matthew Gray Gubler as he attended the Agent Provocateur Lingerie Show in Berlin recently. I saw them on Bitten and Bound: the Not So Pretty Side of Hollywood. And no, this is not an S&M site, the writers inform us. It’s all about Hollywood, actors, and interesting news. It’s a pretty cool site, so check it out.
Kate Moss is the current representative for the lingerie line, and clients who wear by the line include Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra, and Christina Aguilera.

MGG looks like he’s enjoying his time off, huh?
Good Ratings

CBS should definately value the writers, cast, and crew of Criminal Minds. A repeat of an episode that wasn’t even really liked by fans still pulled in a huge audience on Wednesday night. CM had an audience about the same size as Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance?, which was 8.4 million. Big Brother dragged CBS to second for the night, which was surprising to me. Maybe people are sick of reality shows? I haven’t wanted to watch Big Brother in years, so I’m with them!
Next week, CBS is replaying “Damaged,” from season three. This is the one which resolves one of Rossi’s big reasons for returning to the BAU.
AJ Cook
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008Finally, a picture of AJ Cook’s belly!! I’ve been wanting to see how she’s faring during her pregnancy. You can check out a picture of her at Criminal Minds Fanatic - but come back here! Anyway, she looks beautiful and happy.
Tonight, CBS is reairing “Honor Among Thieves,” which features Prentiss’s mother asking for some BAU help. This was an episode that was not hugely popular, even among die-hard CM fans (some reviews from fans said it was “painful to watch,” and “out of character”, but give it another try. I watched it on DVD and liked it. Plus, NOTHING else is ever on tv, so it’s good to have Criminal Minds!
Summer Work
Monday, July 21st, 2008
The Stars of Criminal Minds have been out and about recently. Here are some pictures from the CBS, CW, and Showtime Press Tour. The above one is of Matthew Gray Gubler and Shemar Moore.
Here’s Thomas Gibson, Paget Brewster, Joe Mantegna, and Kirsten Vangness.

Kirsten Vangsness was at the Outfest Film Festival’s 14th Annual Film Competition Awards, sporting a unique, fun outfit as usual.

No recent pictures of AJ Cook that I could find, but I think she was at the Press Tour also - I'm sure with the summer heat, she's taking it easy! Only two more months of being pregnant to go!
Hello Out There????
Wednesday, July 16th, 2008It’s been a while! This site has been down for a few weeks…451’s servers have been having problems, but the upside to that is that they spent a bunch of money on new techie stuff, so things should be working better. I hope I can post more now, but if you can’t get to Watching Criminal Minds, keep trying!
Tonight, “Ashes and Dust” from season 2 (2? I think so) will replay on CBS at nine. This one has the most sad and creepy intro…it was very memorable to me, especially because at the beginning, they play a sad, creepy song by Enya. Anyway, I like seeing the older episodes a lot, so make sure to tune in. It’s also a good time to those new to the show to see what it’s all about.
Hopefully, I’ll be back tomorrow with some exciting CM news…we’ll see if the servers hold out!

Here’s Paget helping Shemar show off his nice tummy!
It’s hot, and so is Shemar Moore. In TV Guide’s Hot Bods! issue, CM’s very own Shemar Moore made the cut. He’s featured along with other stars with stellar bodies, including Mario Lopez, Jared Padalecki, Denise Richards, and Roselyn Sanchez. This is the blurb from the magazine:
‘My friends call me `the beast’ in the gym. I like being pushed to my limit.” The 38-year-old Criminal Minds star has to keep up his membership — due to a tendency to gain weight in all the wrong places. “My butt will get bigger. My thighs will get thicker. My face will get chubbier.”
I can’t picture his as chubby!

Spinoff? Maybe, Possibly
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008
Criminal Minds is a solid performer for CBS, and now maybe that success can be parlayed into a franchise?? CSI did the same thing, and now there are three different shows. There has been talk of a CM spinoff. Ex producer Ed Bernero said, “It’s safe to say there will be something soon.” Nothing is definate, but many fans may be anxious to see what the spinoff would mean for the original. Would any cast members be making the jump to help ensure better ratings for the new show? Again, nothing definate. Bernero says, ” “it’s possible characters could be on both shows… All options are open.” He also says they are “looking at all of the things the FBI does and how we can work that into the Criminal Minds”.
Lots of maybes and possibles and could bes. Would you watch a CM spinoff? I definately would. I’d be interested to see what it was about. More profilers? A different take on profiling or criminal investigation?
Do we need another show about profilers? If it is as good as CM, definately. The show, along with CSI: Miami and Two and a Half Men, were the only three scripted dramas to make it into the Nielsen top ten last week, and it helped propell CBS to first place ratings for last week.
We’ll see soon if anything comes of this idea.
Happy Birthday today to Thomas Gibson!
