A Higher Power

I have a little confession to make. “A Higher Power” is on tonight at nine on CBS. Another great Criminal Minds episode, I’m sure. Because I can’t really remember it. I read a little blurb and it started to come back to me, but for the life of me, I couldn’t remember what happened in the end. It’s sad. I think I have a good case of pregnancy brain. If anyone else out there is fuzzy on “A Higher Power” or hasn’t seen it, you can find a great summary of the action at TV.com. I really can’t believe myself. I know I’ll remember as soon as I watch it. Ah well, it’ll be like watching a new episode.

The 55-year-old former Criminal Minds star debuted in 1980 on Broadway with Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Evita, playing Che. He later won his first Tony Award for the role, and four years later was again recognized with a nomination for his starring role in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, Sunday in the Park with George. In 1991, he headed back to Broadway with the Tony Award-winning musical, The Secret Garden. Six years later, he held a one-man concert aptly titled Mandy Patinkin in Concert, followed by numerous solo concerts and stage musicals.
