A Short Stop Back by the BAU
If you missed JJ, you can have a chance to see her when she stops back to visit her BAU buddies with son, Henry, in tow. TV Guide reports that AJ Cook will appear in the December 17 episode of CM, which she shot shortly after Mekhai was born on September 13. She’ll return from maternity leave for episode 14, which airs in February.
Update: Earlier this week (last week?) I wrote about the civil suit against Tyler Perry, writer and director of Diary of a Mad Black Woman, starring Shemar Moore. The Associated Press is reporting that Perry won the suit. His attorney, Veronica Lewis, says:
We are very pleased that the jurors understood that Tyler Perry is an incredibly talented person who has no need to copy the work of others.
Attorneys for Donna West, who claimed that Perry stole her idea for the movie, said:
Obviously we’re very disappointed. We thought we’d made our case. I believe that we conclusively demonstrated that Mr. Perry had access to Ms. West’s work, that there were striking similarities between her work and his work.
They plan to seek a new trial.
