Bits and Pieces
Here’s a hodge-podgy post:
We have some info on “Normal,” which is set to air tonight at nine on CBS. This episode guest stars Faith Ford (who played Corky Sherwood on Murphy Brown - I used to watch that show all the time!) and Mitch Pileggi as her husband. The team goes to So Cal looking for a “normal” man who has turned into someone dubbed “The Road Warrior.” He targets people driving luxury cars, and the team feels the pressure as they race to save his entire family from him.
Guest star Elaine Hendrix says:
I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say or not but I will say this: I have a heavy character who, unlike so many of my other characters, is more of a victim. Though part of the torment for my character is: Am I really [a victim]? The plot is very trippy.
(quote on Buddy TV)
This sounds good. I like the ones with supposedly normal people doing monstrous things: it makes me wonder if anyone can turn into a psychotic serial killer?? I would like to believe that I could not, but who knows? No, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t.
In other news, CBS is burning up the ratings. They were first last week for the eleventh time in a row. Criminal Minds is a huge part of that - they’ve been bringing in huge audiences week after week. Last week, the show brought in 14.68 million viewers. CBS also had most of the top twenty shows for the week (with the exception of football on NBC, Charlie Brown Christmas on ABC, House on Fox, and Law and Order: SVU on NBC).
I think it’ll be another big week for CM.
