CM Alum in Concert
Mandy Patinkin was the reason why many people started watching Criminal Minds - but not the only reason they kept watching, as seen from the great ratings the show has seen this season. He did add a certain something to CM, and now he’s doing well as a performer. He is doing a two week run at the Duke of York Theatre in London of Stephan Sondheim pieces. According to a review in the Financial Times:
Patinkin is evidently a man who feels things intensely. When hitting long or high notes he often half-crouches, eyes closed, reminiscent of a fairground strongman about to bend an iron rod over one thigh.
This emotion was also evident in CM, where his character seemed to feel the pain of every victim.
Seeing this article made me wonder what other former CM star, Lola Glaudini, is up to. I went on IMDb to check out her filmography. She was a guest star on Sopranos and Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and under her Criminal Minds section, it said she appeared in “Soul Mates” and “Bloodline” both from 2009, season four. Now, she left in season two, so I don’t know if this is an error…could she be guest starring in an episode or two? I’m sure it’s an error on IMDb, but it’d be interesting to see Elle Greenaway back. I haven’t seen it anywhere else, so I think IMDb is mistaken, unfortunately.
Edited: Just to be clear - I am not saying Elle is coming back! I’m saying it’d be nice. Just a dream, not a fact.

Lola is not coming back. If you look at the guest cast from the CBS website her name is not listed, ANYWHERE!

Yeah, which is why I said it was an error on IMDb. It’d be nice to see her again…a girl can dream, right?

May I just say, I hope that Elle never comes back. Her character was so dislikable.

Really? I like Prentiss better too - I think she’s very likable. I liked Elle’s character because she wasn’t perfect, she was tough though. But I don’t think we’ll have to worry about her coming back! Thanks!
