My post incorrectly noted the time of CM tonight as nine. As DD points out, it is at EIGHT!!! Tonight, CM is on at eight!! Sorry about that. I had no idea. Katie Couric’s All Access Grammy show thing is on at nine - I don’t watch anything else on tv so I had no clue. Thanks, DD, and I’ll make sure to check my times in the future.

I will watch Mayhem again tonight; I did not catch it on my DVR last time. But, I remember that this episode irritated the h!e!c!k! out of me. I lived on military bases for 15 years and know that orders for protection of civilians are ORDERS to be obeyed, full stop. Whenever the gate guards did not do the full check as they were supposed to do it; when DEFCON numbers were high. I would report them, even if it benefited me by a few minutes. This was all pre-9/11, but the principal is the same. I HATE that Morgan breaks the rules and the line and goes to rescue Hotch in the street and then takes the ambulance into the streets. The guards at the hospital where the VIP was, should have NEVER EVER let the ambulance inside either. We can criticize and belabor the extra security as civilians, but I assure you, if the military/FBI/all-Feds don’t follow security mandates, and someone is injured or dies, the reaction is worse.
Morgan is portrayed as if he is heroic in this episode, I think he’s a loose cannon.

Hotch agrees with you. I wonder if this will come up in future episodes, and maybe get him into some trouble. They made a pretty big deal of it in “Mayhem,” so maybe it’ll play into future shows.
