More on “Angel Maker”
Buddy TV, my favorite source for CM stuff, has a little glimpse into “Angel Maker” and into season four. Hotch, who was injured in “Mayhem” and lost a collegue, continues to work obsessively. He struggles with depression, which I guess will be a recurrent theme in the season. This from Buddy TV:
“In the aftermath of Kate’s death, Hotch will ignore medical advice and continue to work with his post-explosion injuries, putting himself in danger of permanent injury,” executive producer Ed Bernero told TVGuide.com. “The team will then slowly realize that Hotch is working almost non-stop, and begin to worry further about his health.”
Also, we get some spoilers. JJ is out and her temporary fill-in finds that her job is definately not easy. Meta Golding will play Jordan Todd, who steps in while JJ (and AJ) is on maternity leave. Also, FINALLY more on Emily Prentiss:
“We have a real surprise in the middle of the season about her life. I think it will make total sense when it comes out, but I don’t think that you will see it coming. We’re excited about it, and Paget is very excited about it. It’s something that we’ve talked about behind the scenes, as ‘this is the secret,’ but we’re going to reveal it this year and give an interesting backstory to that character.”
I’m glad we will get to know a bit more about her - she’s been kind of a mystery so far.
This sounds like a great season. We’ll find out more about the lives of the characters, but hopefully there will still be a focus on interesting and compelling cases and criminals.
