Not Hotch Too?!?!?
I just read something disturbing from EW.com. They report that Thomas Gibson will be leaving the show after the premiere. At the end of season two, his job is in jeopardy.
Anyway, expect Thomas Gibson’s Hotch to resolve the season-finale cliff-hanger of his shaky job status by…pulling a Mandy. ”Hotch leaves the BAU at the beginning of the first episode,” says exec producer Chris Mundy, who’s writing the season premiere. ”Everything [in the series] is really shaken up by what happened at the end of last season. Just a teeny bit of art imitating life, but the art actually came first.”
I’m very sad! I was looking forward to seeing Joe Mantagna replace Mandy Patinkin, but a replacement for Hotch too? I’m hoping that EW.com is wrong about this, and I’ll try to find out some more on it.

I think it is a fast one, I read that Hotch is “requesting” a transfer, but that doesn’t say he gets it or stays where he is going for very long. I have not seen any press except for this EW thing that you posted. It would be very strange if there wasn’t more notice of this if is official.

Yeah, I thought so because there is ABSOLUTELY nothing else out there on this, and there would be especially because of Mandy Patinkin leaving. I just thought I’d post it with the understanding it was a rumor because it’s interesting to hear them sometimes. Thanks for the help on this one!
